Overview

The Australia Government has identified occupations which fill critical skills need to support Australia’s economy. ​​​​​​The Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) identifies 44 occupations including 5 that are relevant to our new Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree.

PMSOL lists the following skilled occupations for priority migration to Australia including:

  • Accountant (General)
  • Management Accountant
  • Taxation Accountant
  • External Auditor
  • Internal Auditor

The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree comprises 24 subjects delivered over 6 semesters culminating in a major in accounting. The Sydney Institute of Higher Education degree is also accredited by the leading professional membership bodies (CPA Australia and Chartered Accounts Australia and New Zealand) ensuring the qualification is highly relevant and industry recognised.

The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) provides training in the field of accounting, as well as aspects of finance, law, economics and IT.
